Concept 38 # 1 & #3

1.  One of my friends in school is really loud, loud people are annoying to me and embarrassing. I am a quiet person and like to stay in one place instead of walking around everywhere. We often fight because I don't want to do all these crazy things.

3.  The hero is brave, hardworking, and respectful. The villain is intellectual, stern, and strong willed.  I believe that the hero's respectfulness will annoy the villain making him angrier and wanting more violence

Concept 37 #1 & #3

1.) -The ending of X men first class blew me away because I was not expecting Charles to be paralyzed by Magneto.
- The movie Up, the ending surprised me because Mr. Frederickson becomes a father figure to Russell.
- Prince of Persia,  the ending was surprising because all of the characters that had died, as well as the connection that have been made throughout the movie were all erased because a dagger reversed time to when all the problems were about to begin.

3. A really great prank I pulled was on a telephone operator. I pretended to be an old woman so I talked slower and with broader vocabulary. To my surprise the telephone operator was also an old man. I was only going to ask him about a product I had seen on a commercial but we talked for about 20 minutes on the younger generation and how much the world had changed. I think this technique can be used in film making because the director can fool the audience into thinking that, for example, a movie scene takes place in an English kitchen, but the whole set does not have to go to England to shoot this scene. Instead, the director can have English actors in a regular kitchen that looks like its from England, or even any american actors with a good english accent.

Concept 34 # 2

The superpower I would want is the ability to go back in time manipulation, like going back in time or to the future & stopping time as well. I will need to be cold hearted in order to do the wrong thing. Also I would have to put my feelings aside because I would be controlled by some higher evil, which will not allow me to have opinions or choices, like Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Reflection

I thought that the structure of the film added to its curious story. I enjoyed that it wasn't in chronological order. It also helped develop the characters because in every memory they went back to we found out something new about the characters. Compared to the other movies  the structure in this movie makes the most sense.

Concept 33 # 1

When I was younger a neighbor of mine made a huge impression on me. She was an older woman who lived alone and none of the other children in the neighborhood would talk to her because they were afraid of her. One day she came out with a basket of candy and offered us all, and we all accepted. We started talking to her and found out that she was really nice. The woman didn't know us and she just gave us candy just because she was genuinely nice, it showed me how people can be kind and do and act of kindness without reason.

Concept 28 #2

For the three master scenes i would choose the first event that caused the conflict between ulysses s. grant and robert e. lee.
For the second scene i would choose an action scene of the battle to add some action to the story.
The third scene would be the resolution of the whole story.

Groundhog day reflection

This movie's linear structure is only based 24 hours, and he just repeated the same day over and over. Compared to Citizen Kane, Groundhog Day repeated the same day and the movie doesn't focus on the main character's past.

Psycho Reflection

The movie was entertaining for the most part. I was suprised that the main character was killed early into the movie. However, the story continued for the most part.  I enjoyed the suspense that the music created in the killing scenes.

Concept 25 #3

The event of my life would be be moving from washington to san jose.  The logline would be :  Moving is never easy, especially when you go back to a danger zone.

The logline doesnt really describe what really has happened to me but i think it is dramatic.

Pilot Episode 2

Format: 1

Characters: 2
Entertainment: 2

I think the story is difficult to understand because of the vocabulary. But the story is interesting overall & i think it will be funny in  a sophisticated way.

Concept 24 #1

I would pick the miner avenging his brothers death. He would be a hard worker who has been through a lot in his life. He is supporting his family who is poor. The main conflict in the story is trying to support his family economically and also protecting his younger brother who is a miner as well. His younger brother dies after other miners kill him on accident but the older brother is still very angry and avenges him.

Concept 20 #1

In my show the audience will be able to relate to almost all of the main characters traits. There are 5 or 6 main characters and they all have different traits and personalities and the audience will be able to relate to at any of them. The struggles will be about the students passing their classes, the "popularity"  aspect of school,  the ones who don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend,  and students who are having family issues.

TV show ideas

I think there should be a show with  a non sport high school show. The show should be focused on all the students who are in a club, gang, or any other group. Or it could also show each school day and how different each for each student in there own groups.   So there will be about 4 or 5 main characters each in different social groups.

Concept 19 # 3

My fifteen minute short would be focused on traveling. I would have the main character be a lot like me, and the main plot would revolve around the main character, Aurora, getting a job as a stewardess. Her passion in languages would drive her to get the job, and she would enjoy meeting new people, traveling, and learning other people's culture. There would be no central location because it would be anywhere in the world, depends where her job would take her.

Concept 16: Brainstormers #1

When I watched the movie Beauty and the Beast, I felt that Belle was a person who could appeal to many girls. I found myself appreciating her because she was the first princess who didn't care about being labeled strange or weird, just because people did not understand her. I could relate to her because in my family instead of usually going out like some of my other cousins I would stay home and study and read a lot. They never understood why I wouldn't want to go out instead of reading and my cousins would make fun of me for that.
Belle is a great inspiration to young girls, they can relate to her brains and uniqueness. She also teaches kids to appreciate inner beauty.

Concept 13- Brainstormer

Lately I have been thinking about how my school life would be if I had payed more attention to my math class during my sophomore year. If I had pushed myself harder I would not be having a hard time in my current math class. This is all because I met a girl who steered me into a wrong direction. If I have never met her I would have stayed on the right path and I believe I would be living my normal life.  My movie would be set on my first day of school which was actually about a week after school had started, but in math class. One situation would show me ignoring this girl and not becoming friends with her and actually excelling, and in the other scenario is the scenario that actually what happened and how my life changed from just meeting one person.

Concept 10- Brainstormers

1. I feel that I am really knowledgable in rock music, high school student, history, spanish, mexican and spanish cultures.
2. If I was unfamiliar with a subject at home I would research about the subject in the internet. In the library I would find some books about the subject and read about it. Within the community I would ask someone knowledgable about the subject.
3. I know nothing about politics, governments, and old movies. At first I would interview the AP Gov. teacher and ask all the necessary things I would need.
